My little project photographing the Artists of Elk Run in their own studios has been a bit slow-going but I haven't abandoned the cause!
A few weeks ago, I visited to Canmore's favourite pottery studio, of Cabbages and Kings. John & Katie Borrowman are the father-daughter team who built this lovely studio, and they've welcomed a third artist into their space, Erin Murphy of Wobbly Pots pottery.
My favourite thing about this amazing studio is the beautiful 'mess'. There are splashes around the potting wheels, and pieces of clay in varying degrees of being dishes. There are years of hard work layered throughout the space. Love it so much; so inspiring.
So many incredibly beautiful textures to take in!
